Multi-rows of neck feathers. A rare stepped layer on the back, curved upwards.
The rear end of the handle is not connected to the tail directly, but by a rod. Extended wings.
condition: good condition considering age and use, decoration lines and vertical notches on the upper rim of the base are well visible, old wear as expected, especially to the tip of the tail and the beak

This Karaweik has a beautiful curved tail with a spacer between handle and tail. The octagonal base is decorated with vertical notches on the upper rim.
The pronounced medium neck feather almost closes the circle to the rear end of the handle. The weight is worn with greenish encrustation.
The verification mark, usually the outline of a bird, is not visible anymore.

Excellent natural bronze patina with rich remnants of black lacquer, smooth surface.
Both eyes with eyelid. Second row of the neck feathers nearly reach the tip of the handle to close a circle. Elongated tail.
The rear end of the handle is not connected to the tail directly, but by a rod. Extended wings. The protruding ends of the wings are worn.

Just a beautiful well designed Karaweik with an elegant elaborated joint between handle and tail and the typical frieze of notches around the base. The Karaweik weights appear with two or three bands of neck feathers, here one find three bands. The weight is slightly worn but the signs of age made it more attractive. Good condition with dark brown patina.

A beautiful Karaweik with the typical frieze of notches around the base. The Karaweik weights appear with two or three bands of neck feathers, here one find two bands. Small chip on the tip of the beak and a small hole between right leg and chest (see image 6a/b). Good condition with rich traces of black and partly red coating.
